3 VERIFY ............................... (abbreviated format: V.)

VERIFY or VERIFY "filename
"
This command is used to confirm that programs have been properly recorded on
tape by the SAVE command. This is done by playing the tape and comparing the
program read with the program contained in memory.
If
both programs are the
same, "OK" is displayed; if they are different, "READ error
"
is
displayed.
In the latter case, save the program again.

been properly recorded ...
(2) Type in VERIFY "NAME"

("NAME" is not necessary if no
file name has been assigned).
