Manual Test Mode

Introduction

Manual Test Mode software allows service
personnel to monitor the telephone status
on the display, and manually control tele-
phone functions via the keypad.
Manual Test Mode operates at two levels:
1. Status Display level, which allows the
phone
to
operate
providing status indications in the
display.
2. Servicing Level, which disables normal
call-processing and allows commands to
be entered through the keypad to manu-
ally control operation of the phone.

Status Display

The Status Display information is described
in Figure 2: "Status Display Indicator" on
page 8 and the "02# Radio Status Request"
section of Table 3, "Test Commands For
Manual Test Mode," on page 9.
When dialing a phone number, the status
display ceases when the first digit of the
phone number is entered. The telephone
number is displayed in the normal manner
as entered. When the Snd button (or End or
Clr ) is pressed, the status information
display resumes.
