Initialize the radio as follows:
1. Carrier = OFF
2. Power Level = 0
3. Receive Audio = MUTED
4. Transmit Audio = MUTED
5. Signaling Tone = OFF
6. SAT = OFF
7. DTMF & Audio Tones = OFF
8. Audio Path = TO INTERNAL SPEAKER
Turn carrier on
Turn carrier off
Mute the receive audio
Unmute the receive audio
Mute the transmit audio
Unmute the transmit audio
Load synthesizer with ABCD
where ABCD = channel number in decimal.
When narrow mode is selected, an nchan prompt will
allow channel selection as follows:
0 Selects below channel
1 Selects center channel
2 Selects above channel
Set RF power attenuation to A
where A = attenuation level (0-7; 0= maximum power)
Transmit 10 kHz signaling tone (wide mode only)
Stop transmitting signaling tone (wide mode only)
Transmit a five word reverse control channel message;
each of the five words will be "FFOOAA55CC33". The
transmitter de-keys at end of message.
Transmit a two word reverse voice channel message;
both words will be "FFOOAA55CC33". The transmitter
de-keys at end of message.
Display software version as "year, week" .
