The LOWER OVEN CONTROL
knob is located on the left side of
the control panel.

BAKE:
1. Turn LOWER OVEN
CONTROL to desired temperature.
2. When finished, turn LOWER
OVEN CONTROL to OFF.
The lower oven can be used while
the upper oven is on. Youcannot
[~f"oil in the lower oven. The lower
oven
has a standard porcelain
tinish. See page 15for cleaning
information.

The shelvesare designed with stops
and hooks so when placed correctly
on the shelf supports, they will stop
before coming completely out of
the oven and will not tilt when you
are removing food from them or
placing food on them.
When placing cookware on a shelf,
puHthe shelf out to the "stop"
position. Place the cookware on
the shelf, then slide the shelf back
into the oven. This will eliminate
reaching into the hot oven.
Lift Up and
Pull Forward
To remove a shelf from the oven,
pull it towardyou, tilt front end
upward,raising rack stop to clear
shelf support and pull it out.
To
replace,
place shelf on shelf
support with raised extensionof
shelf facing up and towardrear of
oven, getting shelfhook started
under selected shelf support. Keep
front of shelf tiltedup and push
towardback of ovenuntil shelf stop
can engage insideshelf support.
Then lower front of shelf and push
it all the way back.

Use the switch on the control panel
to turn the light on and off.
oven v ent
When the oven is on, heated air
movesthrough a ventbelow the
control panel.
The vent area could get hot during
oven use.
The vent is needed for proper air
flow in the oven and good baking
results. Do not block this vent.
Doing so may cause failure, fire
or damageto the oven.
