The following describes the setting items of each tab.
[Application] tab
■ Application
Specify the application to interact with the ScanSnap. The specified application starts
running after the document is scanned with the ScanSnap. Click

You can select one of the following applications:
• Scan to File
• Adobe Acrobat Standard (This appears when Adobe Acrobat Standard is
installed.)
• Adobe Acrobat Professional (This appears when Adobe Acrobat Professional is
installed.)
• Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader (This appears when Adobe Reader or
Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed.)
• Preview
• iPhoto (This appears when iPhoto version 5 or later is installed. iPhoto 5 is sup-
ported by Mac OS X v10.3.4 or later.)
• Scan to Folder
• Scan to E-mail
• Scan to Print
• Scan to Searchable PDF (This appears when ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap is
installed.)
• Cardiris (This appears when Cardiris 3.6 for ScanSnap is installed.)
