Heater operation

Turning the heater on
Press the ON/OFF button. The indicator will glow green, the spark generator will be heard
before the burner ignites and the indicator glows red (indicates the heater is alight).
When the heater warms up the fan will automatically start.
If the heater does not ignite, there may be air remaining in the gas supply line. If this is the
case, the spark generator will only continue for 15 seconds. After this, it will be necessary to
press the ON/OFF button OFF then ON again.
If the appliance fails to ignite after four attempts, contact Rinnai as a service call may be
required.
Turning the heater off
Press the ON/OFF button and the indicator light will go out. The fan will continue to operate
(to cool the appliance) for several minutes after the burner has gone out. Do not unplug the
heater while the fan is still operating.
Adjusting the room temperature
Pressing the

The temperature can be preset to:
L (Low)
16-26 °C (in 1 °C steps)
H (High)
The room temperature sensor is located behind the Energysaver
