Flueing: Installation configurations
In-wall vertical The in-wall vertical co-axial system is installed within a stud wall (minimum
cavity depth of 90 mm) and is run vertically upwards. This type of
installation is usually completed at the framing stage.
Down and out
Flue runs below floor level to an external termination point (must have a
flueing
continuous fall of 2 ° to drain condensate). Ideal for Energysavers that need
to be located in a central position of a building.
If not going in-wall, flue configuration requires additional clearance off the
wall—Back Spacer Kit required. This adds approximately 200 mm of extra
depth.
Flue must terminate 300 mm above the ground.
