General information

Before operation
Read these instructions to get an overview of how to operate, maintain and service your
Rinnai Energysaver
Electrical connection
The electrical connection is to the right hand side of the heater (passes out of
the rear of the appliance). A 3-pin plug is supplied, this must be connected to
a dedicated earthed power point. The power point must be to the side of the
heater and a maximum of 1500 mm (cord supplied is 1500 mm). It must not
be above the unit as this is a potential fire hazard.
If the supply cord is damaged and requires replacing, it must be replaced by a licensed
tradesperson. This must be a genuine replacement part available from Rinnai.
Filters
During peak operating periods the filters should be cleaned weekly, however if
the filter warning indicator flashes, immediately turn off the appliance and clean
filters before further use. Refer to `Care of your Energysaver

Humidifier tray
Ensure the access panel and humidifier tray are in place before using your Energysaver
Rinnai recommend you fill the tray to the water level indicator as marked—taking care not to
overfill.
