The Energysaver has built-in technology to continually monitor its own performance. If a fault

occurs, an error message will flash on the digital display on the control panel. This assists with
diagnosing the fault and may enable you to overcome a problem without a service call.

In all cases, you may be able to clear the error message by turning the heater off then on
again. If the error message remains or returns when the heater is used again, contact Rinnai
or a Rinnai Service Centre.
Faults caused by an insufficient gas supply, gas quality, installation or operation errors are not
covered by the Rinnai warranty.

Check gas supply is turned on, turn heater off then
on again. If ignition failure continues, a service call
will be required.
