The speaker is out of phase. The
"+"
and "-" terminals of the
speaker may be connected the
other way around. However.
depending on the speakers.
"OUT" appears on the display
even though the speakers are
connected properly. This is
because of the speakers'
specifications. In this case, you
can continue to use the receiver.
FULL FLAT Makes the measurement of
frequency from each speaker
nal.
ENGINEER Sets thc frequency
characteristics to a set that
matches that of thc Sony
listening room standard.
No speakers are connected.
Tip
Depcnding on thc position of the sub woofer. the
measurement results for polarity may vary.
However. there wi II be no problems even if you
continue to use the receiver with that value.
When you select "PHASE INFO"
You can check the phase of each speaker (in
phase/out of phase).
Press +/+ repeatedly to select a speaker,
then press
EB
to return to step 1 in "To
confirm/save auto calibration when GUI
function is turned off."
Tip
The size of a speaker (LARGE/SMALL) is
determined by thc low characteristics. The
measurement results may vary, dcpending on the
position of the optimizer microphone and speakers,
and the shape of the room. It is recomlllcndcd that
you follow the measurement results. However. you
can change those settings in the Speaker settings
menu. Save the measurement results lirst. then try to
change the settings if you wanl.

You can also use the 2CH/A.DIRECT, kF.D.,
MOYIE, or MUSIC buttons on the receiver.
Listening to the sound without
any adjustment (ANALOG
DIRECT)
Press 2CH/A.DIRECT.
You can also use 2CH/A.DIRECT on the
receiver.
Listening to the FM/AM radio
