In case of excessive travel of the brake lever or poor performance of the braking system,
purge the air in the system.
RISK OF BRAKE FLUID SPILLS. DO NOT OPERATE THE
BRAKE LEVER WITH BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR CAP
LOOSENED OR REMOVED.
CAUTION
AVOID PROLONGED AIR EXPOSURE OF THE BRAKE
FLUID. BRAKE FLUID IS HYGROSCOPIC AND ABSORBS
MOISTURE WHEN IN CONTACT WITH AIR. LEAVE THE
BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR OPEN ONLY FOR THE TIME
NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE TOPPING UP PROCEDURE.
TO AVOID SPILLING BRAKE FLUID WHILE TOPPING-UP,
KEEP THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE RESERVOIR PARALLEL
TO THE RESERVOIR EDGE (IN HORIZONTAL POSITION).
DO NOT ADD ADDITIVES OR OTHER SUBSTANCES TO
THE FLUID. IF A FUNNEL OR ANY OTHER ELEMENT IS
USED, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS PERFECTLY CLEAN.
Recommended products
AGIP BRAKE 4 Brake fluid
As an alternative to the recommended fluid, other
fluids that meet or exceed the required specifica-
tions may be used. SAE J1703, NHTSA 116 DOT
4, ISO 4925 Synthetic fluid

FRONT BRAKE FLUID TOP-UP

Unscrew and remove the cap (1).
Remove the gasket (2).
CAUTION
DO NOT EXCEED THE "MAX" LEVEL MARK WHEN TOPPING UP.
TOP UP TO "MAX" LEVEL MARK ONLY WHEN BRAKE PADS ARE NEW.
BRAKE LEVEL DECREASES GRADUALLY AS BRAKE PADS WEAR DOWN.
WHEN TOPPING-UP, DO NOT EXCEED THE "MAX" LEVEL MARK WHEN BRAKE PADS ARE
WORN AS YOU RISK SPILLING FLUID WHEN CHANGING THE BRAKE PADS.

REAR BRAKE FLUID TOP-UP

Keeping the reservoir upright, unscrew
and remove the cap (4).
Remove the gasket (3).
Keeping the reservoir upright, and with
the aid of a syringe, top-up the reser-
voir with brake fluid up to the correct
