2-10. Replacing the Plug-in Board

2-10-1. Removing/Installing the Plug-in Board

Be sure to turn off the POWER switch and unplug the
power cord before starting the removal/installation.
1. Remove the upper lid.
(Refer to "2-5-1. Removing/Installing the Upper Lid,
Side Panels, Bottom Plate".)
2. Loosen the screw, and remove the board retainer (L) or
(S).

3. Remove the harnesses connected to the boards
removed:
CUE-10 board:
Four pieces
DIF-91A board:
Six pieces
DCP-26 board:
Three pieces
EQ-85 board:
Seven pieces
PD-94/107 board:
Two pieces and one flat cable

4. Push up the eject levers on the two sides of the board
removed in the arrow direction.
5. Hold the eject levers and slowly pull them straight up.

Removal
To install, perform the reverse order of this procedure.

. After inserting the board, push the two eject levers from
the top at the same time, and connect to the connector of
the mother board (MB-863 board) properly.
. When installing the board retainer, insert the protrusion
into the square hole on the chassis and then tighten the
screws.
2-10-2. Point to Notice When Replacing
the SS-88 Board
Perform the store of data before replacing the SS-88 board.
According to the procedure of replacement, refer to the
Section 1-2-2 in the maintenance manual parts 2 volume1.
