Two Action buttons to activate the 2D Imager.

A Micro-USB port that charges the Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet via the Dell
tablet's charger.

A Mag-strip reader for payment transactions.
To be able to scan barcodes and process credit card payments, you need to
attach a Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet to the e231. You can't use the e231 as a
standalone device.
To attach the tablet, you should remove the micro-USB plug module from the e231
casing.

On the upper left side of the e231 back panel, turn the locking screws
counter-clockwise. Then pull out the micro-USB plug module.
