REAR WHEEL REMOVAL
1.
Place
the motorcycle on the side stand.
A hot muffler can
burn
you. The muffler
will
be
hot enough to burn you for some
time
after
stopping the
en!jine.
Wait until the muHler cools to avoid burns.

Remove the axle cap and draw out the

CAUTION
Improper Jacking may cause
damage
to the oil
filter.

jack head
to the 011 filter when

axle
cap
and
loosen
the rear axle nut

drive gear and set the wheel assembly
on the
ground.

Remove the
rear
wheel
assembly.

repl

the wheel

plete sequence listed
