REAR WHEEL REMOVAL
1. Place the motorcycle on the side stand.
A hot muffler can burn you. The muffler will be
hot enough to burn you for some time after
stopping the en!jine.
Wait until the muHler cools to avoid burns.

equivalent under the swing arm to lift
the rear wheel slightly off the ground.
CAUTION
Improper Jacking may cause damage to the oil
filter.
Do not apply the jack head to the 011 filter when
jacking up the motorcycle.

2. Remove the rear axle cap and loosen
the rear axle nut

6. Remove the wheel from the splined
drive gear and set the wheel assembly
on the ground.
7. Remove the rear wheel assembly.
8. To repl ace the wheel , reverse the com ­
plete sequence listed .
