THROITLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Measure the throttle cable play by turning
the throttle grip. The throttle grip should
have 2 - 4 mm (0.08 - 0.16 in) play.
CLUTCH
Inadequate throttle cable play can cause engine
speed to rise suddenly when you turn the han­
dlebars. This can lead to loss of rider control.
Adjust the throttle cable play so that engine idle
speed does not rise due to handlebar move­
ment.
1. Loosen the lock nut
