4. Adjustment
(2)Environment settings for AF adjustment (fig. B)
1) Set the distance between the AF chart and the front of the F
mount to 953.5 mm +-1 mm.
2) Use a light source to illuminate the AF chart. Set the AF
chart surface brightness as 9.0 to 11.5 Ev.
3) Set the camera on the stand for the AF solid chart.
(3)Environment settings for flash adjustment (fig. C)
Because flash adjustments are easily affected by outside light,
the periphery of the gray chart should be made extremely dark
to minimize interference from outside lighting. Install the chart
2000 mm from the front of the flash unit.
As the gray chart standard, use Superior Oxford Gray (No.22)
and a reflectivity of 18+-0.7%.
4-7.Various downloading software decompressions,
preservation methods, and notes
The PC adjustment software are in a specified Web server, and
both of these are the compression of ZIP form files.
Therefore, after downloading these compression files from the
Web server, the decompression of the file is necessary.
In the decompression software, if the decompression of the ZIP
form can be done, any software is OK.
(Please prepare each one for the decompression software.)
The decompression and the preservation method of the PC
adjustment software and the firmware are described
to the following.
