Turn on/off JavaScript
To turn on or turn off JavaScript in the mobile browser, follow these steps:
1.
From the main Home screen, tap the Browser icon.
2.
Tap the Menu key, and then tap Settings.
3.
Tap Advanced.
4.
Select or clear the Enable JavaScript check box.
Sync
Background data
To turn on or turn off background data, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS,' tap More.
5.
Tap Data usage.
6.
Tap the Menu key.
7.
Select or clear the Restrict bkgd. data check box.
Sync apps & accounts
To add or edit apps and accounts to sync, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS,' tap More.
5.
Tap Data usage.
6.
Tap the Menu key.
7.
Select the Auto-sync data check box.
8.
Review the information screen, and then tap OK.
9.
Tap the Back key, then tap the Back key again to return to the All settings tab.
10. Perform one of the following actions:
o
Edit an existing account
1.
Scroll to 'ACCOUNTS,' and select an account to edit sync options.
2.
Adjust sync settings as necessary.
o
Add new account
1.
Scroll to 'ACCOUNTS,' and tap Add account to add a new account to the device.
2.
Follow additional prompts to complete setup and adjust sync settings.
Music
Music player
Play music or MP3
To play music or MP3s in the music player, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2.
Scroll to and tap Play Music.
3.
Navigate to and select the song you want to play.
