To enter symbols and numbers with the keyboard, follow these steps:

In a text entry field, tap the ?123 key to access symbols and numbers.
Note: When in Swype keyboard mode, tap the +!= key instead.

To see more symbols, tap the =\< key.
Note: When in Swype keyboard mode, tap the 1/2 key instead.
3.
To return to the letter keyboard, tap the ABC key.
Text entry mode
To change the text entry or predictive text mode, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll to 'PERSONAL,' and then tap Language & input.
5.
Tap the Android keyboard Settings icon.
6.
Adjust the available settings as necessary.
7.
Scroll down to and tap Advanced settings.
8.
Select or clear the Next word prediction check box.
9.
If desired, adjust the other available settings.
Turn on/off haptic feedback

Switch windows
To switch tasks or windows, follow these steps:

From any screen, touch and hold the Home key.
2.
A list of recently used applications will display. Select the window you want to switch to.
SIM Card
Insert/remove SIM card
To insert or remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

Power the phone off.
2.
Remove the back cover using the notch located at the bottom of the phone.
