Tap Mobile networks.

Select the Use only 2G networks check box.
Check for software update
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll down to and tap About phone.
5.
Tap System updates.
6.
Tap Check now.
7.
If a new update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to update your phone.
Set phone to sleep
To put the phone into sleep mode, press and quickly release the Power key.
To activate the phone, press and quickly release the Power key.
Update third-party applications
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2.
Scroll to and tap Play Store.
3.
Tap the Menu key, and then tap My apps.
4.
If necessary, touch the screen and slide right to view the 'INSTALLED' screen.
5.
Tap Update.
6.
Scroll through and review your installed applications for the following:
o
Available updates that haven't been downloaded yet
o
Low ratings (1 or 2 stars)
o
Comments indicating battery issues
o
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, or network access
Note: Tap Security Permissions to see the application's current access
Uninstall third-party applications
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap Manage apps.
3.
If necessary, touch the screen and slide right to view the 'DOWNLOADED' screen.
4.
Select the application you want to delete.
5.
Tap Uninstall.
6.
Tap OK.
Check battery usage
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll to 'DEVICE,' and then tap Battery.
5.
Review which features are using your battery.
