Manage memory

To manage the internal memory, follow these steps:
Restart the device regularly
1. Press and hold the Power key.
2. Tap Power off.
3. When the device is off, press the Power key to turn the device back on.
Note: You should restart the phone at least once a day.
Reduce memory use
If the device is slow, remove the widgets from Home screens (especially ones that update with information or have animation).
If you are using a live wallpaper and the device is slow, turn off the live wallpaper.
Task manager
A task manager can view running apps and close them. To use the task manager, follow these steps:
1. Restart the phone.
2. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
3. Tap Manage apps.
4. If necessary, touch the screen and slide left or right to the 'RUNNING' screen.
5. Examine the list of apps running in the background.
6. View applications that are running in memory, and either:

Uninstall the third-party apps

Clear cache and data
View free memory
To view the amount of free internal memory, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Manage apps.
