Shutter Speed Mode

Changing the Shutter Speed Mode

1 Open the shutter [Mode] submenu.
[~ Camera Setup] > [Shutter] > [Mode]

2 Select the desired mode and then press the joystick.
• If you selected [Speed] (the default value), you can continue the
procedure to select the increment scale to use when adjusting the
shutter speed.
3 Open the [Shutter Increment] submenu.
[~ Camera Setup] > [Shutter] > [Shutter Increment]
4 Select [1/3 stop] or [1/4 stop] and then press the joystick.

Adjusting the Shutter Value

1 Press the SHUTTER button.
• The current shutter value will be highlighted in orange.
2 Push the joystick up/down to select the desired shutter
value (shutter speed, angle value or clear scan frequency)
and then press the joystick.
• The selected shutter value will be set and the display will
return to normal.
• You can also adjust the shutter value using only the joystick
(A 56).
NOTES
• If you set an assignable button to [SHUTTER] (A 107), you can press that button instead of the SHUTTER
button to highlight the shutter value.
Remote Operation Using Browser Remote
After completing the necessary preparations (A 153), you can adjust the shutter speed remotely from a
connected device using the Browser Remote application.
1 Press the shutter speed mode button on the Browser Remote screen.
2 Select the desired mode.
3 Press the current shutter speed, angle value or clear scan frequency and select the desired value
from the list.
• You may need to scroll up/down to see all the available values.
• The selected value will be displayed on the Browser Remote screen and will be applied on the camcorder.
