Especially about cordless telephones
Priva: The same features that make a ordless telephone onvenient reate
some limitations. Telephone alls are transmitted between the telephone
base and the handset b radio waves, so there is a possibilit that our
ordless telephone onversations ould be interepted b radio reeivin
equipment within rane of the ordless handset. For this reason, ou should
not think of ordless telephone onversations as bein as private as those on
orded telephones.
Eletrial power: The telephone base of this ordless telephone must be
onneted to a workin eletrial outlet whih is not ontrolled b a wall
swith. Calls annot be made from the handset if the telephone base is
unplued, swithed off or if the eletrial power is interrupted.
Potential TV interferene: Some ordless telephones operate at frequenies
that ma ause interferene to TVs and VCRs. To minimize or prevent suh
interferene, do not plae the telephone base of the ordless telephone
near or on top of a TV or VCR. If interferene is experiened, movin the
ordless telephone farther awa from the TV or VCR will often redue or
eliminate the interferene.
Rehareable batteries: This produt ontains nikel-metal hdride rehareable
batteries. Exerise are in handlin batteries in order not to reate a short
iruit with ondutive material suh as rins, braelets, and kes. The batter
or ondutor ma overheat and ause harm. bserve proper polarit between
the batter and the batter harer.
Nikel-metal hdride rehareable batteries: Dispose of these batteries in a safe
manner. Do not burn or punture. Like other batteries of this tpe, if burned or
puntured, the ould release austi material whih ould ause injur.
