Troubleshooting
The display shows No home line. I cannot get a dial tone.
•
Tr� all the su��estions, as mentioned above.
•
If the previous su��estions do not work, dis�onne�t the
telephone line �ord from �our telephone and �onne�t the
telephone line �ord to another telephone.
•
If there is no dial tone on that other telephone either,
�our telephone line �ord ma� be defe�tive. Install a new
telephone line �ord.
•
If �han�in� the telephone line �ord does not help, the wall
ja�k (or the wirin� to this wall ja�k) ma� be defe�tive. Tr�
usin� a different wall ja�k in �our home to �onne�t �our
TL92271/TL92321/TL92371/TL92421/TL92471/TL96151/
TL96271/TL96371/TL96451/TL96471 telephone, or �onta�t
�our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).

Make sure �ou have a dial tone before dialin�. The �ordless
handset ma� take a se�ond or two to find the telephone base
and produ�e a dial tone. This is normal. Wait an extra se�ond
before dialin�.
•
Eliminate an� ba�k�round noise. Noise from a television, radio
or other applian�es ma� �ause the phone to not dial out
properl�. If �ou �annot eliminate the ba�k�round noise, tr�
mutin� the �ordless handset before dialin�, or dialin� from
another room with less ba�k�round noise.
•
If other phones in �our home are havin� the same problem,
�onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).
