Troubleshooting
My cordless handset does not ring when I receive a call.
•
Make sure that the rin�er is not off. Refer to Ringer volume
in the TL92271/TL92321/TL92371/TL92421/TL92471/
TL96151/TL96271/TL96371/TL96451/TL96471 user's manual
provided with �our telephone.
•
Make sure �ou plu� the telephone line �ord se�urel� into the
telephone base and telephone ja�k. Make sure �ou plu� in the
power �ord se�urel�.
•
The �ordless handset ma� be too far from the telephone base.
•
Char�e the batter� in the �ordless handset for at least 10
hours. For optimum dail� performan�e, return the �ordless
handset to the telephone base or �har�er when not in use.
•
You ma� have too man� extension phones on �our telephone
line to allow all of them to rin� simultaneousl�. Tr� unplu��in�
some of the other phones.
•
The la�out of �our home or offi�e ma� be limitin� the
operatin� ran�e. Tr� movin� the telephone base to another
lo�ation, preferabl� on an upper floor.
•
If other phones in �our home are havin� the same problem,
�onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).
•
Test a workin� phone at the phone ja�k. If another phone has
the same problem, �onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider
(�har�es ma� appl�).
•
�ther ele�troni� produ�ts su�h as �AM radios and other DECT
phones, �an �ause interferen�e with �our �ordless phone. Tr�
installin� �our phone as far awa� as possible from these t�pes
of ele�troni� devi�es.
•
Remove the batter�. Repla�e it and pla�e the �ordless handset
into the telephone base. Allow up to one minute for the
handset to reestablish its �onne�tion with the telephone base.
•
Your line �ord ma� be defe�tive. Tr� installin� a new line �ord.
