Troubleshooting
•
In a few rare instan�es, the �S� port on �our �omputer ma�
not have enou�h power. In these instan�es, tr� usin� a �S�
hub with its own external power suppl�.
•
If �ou are usin� a firewall, it ma� prevent a��ess to �our
nontraditional telephone servi�e provider. Conta�t �our
servi�e provider for more information.
The charge light is off.
•
Make sure �ou plu� the power and line �ords in �orre�tl�
and se�urel�.
•
�nplu� the ele�tri�al power. Wait for 15 se�onds, then plu� it
ba�k in. Allow up to one minute for the �ordless handset and
telephone base to reset.
•
Clean the �ordless handset, �har�er and telephone base
�har�in� �onta�ts ea�h month with a pen�il eraser or �loth.
Common cure for electronic equipment.
If the telephone does not seem to be respondin� normall�, tr�
puttin� the �ordless handset in the �har�er. If it does not fix the
problem, do the followin� (in the order listed):
1. Dis�onne�t the power to the telephone base.
2. Dis�onne�t the �ordless handset batter�.
3. Wait a few minutes.
4. Conne�t power to the telephone base.
5. Completel� remove the batter�. Repla�e the batter� and pla�e
the �ordless handset into the telephone base or �har�er.
6. Wait for the �ordless handset to reestablish its �onne�tion
with the telephone base. Allow up to one minute for this to
take pla�e.
