• You can administer a bolus manually on the pump (without using the meter). When the meter and
Bluetooth wireless technology are both turned on, the pump automatically transfers bolus information
to the meter. If bolus advice is used, it is important you enter carbohydrate information into the meter
for boluses delivered manually on the pump so that accurate bolus advice calculations are made.
• When the meter is in the Pump Menu, the meter beeps and/or vibrates similarly to the pump.
• When the meter and pump are communicating, any button press on the pump disables
communication.
• You can cancel a bolus (including an extended bolus) that is being delivered by the pump directly on
the pump or remotely on the meter (through the Pump Menu on the meter).
