Testing for blood glucose

Insert a test strip
Insert the test strip into the meter in the direction of the arrow
until you hear a signal. A blood drop symbol flashes.

Applying blood
Touch the blood drop with the end of the test strip. Do not
put blood on the top of the test strip. The test strip has
absorbed sufficient blood as soon as the signal sounds
and the hour glass starts to flash.

Taking a blood sample
Obtain a drop of blood from the side of your fingertip
using the lancet (brief instructions on back).

Reading the value
The value appears on the display after 5 seconds. The
meter turns itself off after the test strip is removed.
