When you have completed this menu, press [ENTER] at the prompt "Press [ENTER] to confirm or
[ESC] to cancel" to save your configuration or press [ESC] to cancel and go back to the previous
screen.
25.4 Configuring Dial Backup Setup
From the main menu, enter 2 to open menu 2. Then move the cursor to the Dial Backup field in
Menu 2 - WAN Backup Setup, press the [SPACE BAR] to select Yes and then press [ENTER].

Press [SPACE BAR] and select Yes (to enable) or No (to disable) traffic redirect
setup. The default is No.
Enter the IP address of your backup gateway in dotted decimal notation.
The Prestige automatically forwards traffic to this IP address if the Prestige's
Internet connection terminates.
This field sets this route's priority among the routes the Prestige uses.
The metric represents the "cost of transmission". A router determines the best
route for transmission by choosing a path with the lowest "cost". RIP routing uses
hop count as the measurement of cost, with a minimum of "1" for directly
connected networks. The number must be between "1" and "15"; a number
greater than "15" means the link is down. The smaller the number, the lower the
"cost".
