OPERATION:
Release trigger, detach the air
supply, and safely discharge
any residual air pressure in
the tool before performing any
inspection, maintenance, or
cleaning procedures.

equipment. If abnormal noise,
vibration, or any leakage is
detected, have the problem
corrected before further use.
Cleaning, maintenance, and
Lubrication
Anytime any maintenance or re-
pairs are done (including clear-
ing jams), FIRST:
1.
Disconnect the Nailer/Stapler from the
air hose.
2.
Empty Magazine completely.
3.
Attempt to fire the Nailer/Stapler into a
piece of scrap wood to ensure that it is
disconnected and is incapable of firing
any staples.
4.
Always empty and leave magazine
open during maintenance. The
magazine is spring-loaded and
may cause parts or a fastener to
fly out of the Nailer/Stapler.

Clearing jams for 97520 Brad Nailer
1.
ALWAYS wear
ANSI-approved impact safety
goggles when clearing jams.
2.
Occasionally, a
Brad may become jammed in the fir-
ing mechanism of the Nailer, making
the tool inoperable.
3.
To remove a jammed Brad, discon-
nect the Nailer from its air supply.
4.
Slide the Pusher (63) back until it
locks in place.
5.
Remove all Brads from the Magazine
Assembly (70).
6.
While holding the Pusher (63) in
place, press the Release (74) and
slide the Pusher forward all the way
7.
Attempt to fire the Nailer into a piece
of scrap wood to ensure it is discon-
