Insert the brad nails into the Magazine,
letting the pointed end ride on the rail
of Magazine B (61A). If loading staples,
fit the crown of the staples so they fit
over, and ride on the rail of Magazine
B (61A).
3.
After the nails or staples reach the nose
of the tool, close Magazine A (67A).

Note:
The window gauge on Maga-
zine A (67A) lets you know how many
nails or staples remain.
general Operating Instructions
for All Three Nailers
1.
Before use, add a few drops of pneu-
matic tool oil (not included) into the
Inlet.
2.
Attach the Air Coupler to Air Inlet
using pipe thread seal tape (not
included). Then connect the 3/8" Air
Source Hose to Nailer.
3.
If necessary,
rotate the Exhaust
Cover so that the exhaust air blast will
be directed away from the operator
4.
Set the working air pressure on the
regulator to between the required PSI
range. do not exceed max. PSI.
Refer to Spec Charts on Page 7 for
max. PSI levels.
5.
For the 97526 Air Pin Nailer only, set
the Adjusting Dial to match the cor-
responding sizes of the fasteners
loaded in Nailer/Stapler.
6.
Slide the Safety to the side so that
the Trigger will function. When ready,
squeeze the Trigger to operate.
7.
Test before first use by driving nails,
brads or staples into a sample piece
of wood. If the fasteners do not

achieve the desired penetration,
adjust the air pressure to a higher
setting until desired penetration is
achieved.
8.
To fire, place the nose of the Nailer/
Stapler on the workpiece. The Nailer/
Stapler should not fire if the Safety
is not depressed. Once depressed,
gently and briefly squeeze the Trig-
ger once. Do not fire repeatedly;
nails, brads, or staples could bounce
off of one another, damaging the
work piece or causing PERSONAL
INjURY.
9.
Do not press the Safety against the
workpiece with extra force. Allow
the tool to do the work. Always allow
the tool to recoil off the work surface
10.
When finished using the Nailer/Sta-
pler, always disconnect the tool from
its air supply. Empty the Magazine
Assembly completely of nails, brads
or staples. Attempt to fire the Nailer
into a piece of scrap wood to ensure
it is disconnected and is incapable of
firing any fasteners.
11.
Store the Nailer/Stapler in a clean,
dry, safe location. Keep Nailer/Sta-
pler and air supply out of reach of
children.
Procedures not specifically
explained in this manual
must be performed only by a
qualified technician.
