Is the system ready for the printer? LAN,

Is the prepress hardware and software, with
appropriate levels of application software,
available? See "Prepress Environment" on
page 25.

Final walk through.
1. Walk the path from the delivery point to
the point of installation. Check that the
crates will clear all doors, hanging signs,
sprinkler heads, and other items. Ensure
that there is adequate clearance to
maneuver the crates around all corners.
2. Ensure that "Flooring Requirements" on
page 20 are met.
3. Check for space to unpack crates when
they are in place at the installation site.
4. Check that all electrical receptacles are in
place and have the correct power.
5. Ensure all tools and supplies are on site:
v Toner
v Paper
v Splicing Tape
v Waste bottles
6. Check for all hardware items:
v Vacuum cleaner
v Stepladder
v Installation tools
v Onsite maintenance parts
v Storage locker
7. Verify that the prepress hardware and
software, with appropriate levels of
application software, are available.
8. Use tape to define the location of the
main print tower on the floor of the
customers site.
