Chapter 4. Supplies, Equipment, and Tools
Printer Supplies
The two rolls of paper and two containers of each color of toner that are shipped with the printer are used
in installation and setup. Ensure that you have ordered supplies for your immediate production needs. The
InfoPrint Color 100 uses Version 2 Toner and Mix.
Ordering Supplies
To order supplies for the InfoPrint Color 100 printer in the United States, use any of the following methods:

InfoPrint Color 100 supplies.
Toner
The InfoPrint Color 100 requires four toner colors for printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK).
Order more black toner because black is used more than any other color. Each carton contains six bottles
with 800 grams per bottle (4 800 grams total for each carton).
An approximate average yield established for each toner supply based upon printing at a coverage of 17%
per color is typically 13 700 letter-size or A4-size images per bottle; 82 200 letter or A4-size images per
carton. You may get up to a maximum of 15 000 letter-size or A4-size images per bottle; 90 000 letter or
A4-size images per carton.
These yields are not a guarantee of minimum life and are not covered under warranty, but are provided to
assist in supplies planning. Actual usage should be used to establish the life of the toner. Many factors,
such as print coverage per page, optical density adjustment, paper size and type, and environmental
conditions, can affect toner life.
Two bottles of each color toner are shipped with the printer for installation and setup use. Be sure you
order enough toner and toner waste bottles for your immediate production needs.
Note: The InfoPrint Color 100 requires Version 2 Toner.
Contact your Lexmark representative at (800) 438-2468 for ordering toner. Table 8 shows the toner part
numbers.
