Flooring Requirements

The flooring system at the site must be able to support the weight of the printing system, operators,
additional support equipment and supplies:
The printing system weighs approximately: 1780 kg (3925 lb)
The floor should be free of static, and not subject to vibration from other sources. It must be within 12.7
mm (0.5 in.) of level for the entire length of the printer.
Note: IBM strongly recommends a level concrete floor with no carpeting under the printer. Contact your
IBM representative for further information.
Eight feet support the print tower. Each foot is 51 mm² (2.0 in.²). At any time, six of the eight feet support
the entire weight of the print tower. Each pair of feet is numbered in Table 4. The numbers for the feet
correspond to numbers in Figure 5 on page 14.

Shipping Crate Weights and Dimensions

The InfoPrint Color 100 is shipped in eleven crates. The approximate size and weight of each crate,
including contents, are shown in Table 5 on page 21.
Note: The shipping containers must be returned to IBM for reuse.
