Chapter 1. About this manual

This manual contains service and reference information for ThinkStation
computers listed on the cover. It is intended only for trained servicers who are
familiar with Lenovo
Before servicing a Lenovo product, be sure to read the Safety Information in
Chapter 2, "Safety information," on page 3.
Chapter 8, "Symptom-to-FRU Index," on page 55 and Chapter 11, "Additional
service information," on page 167 chapters are not specific to any machine type
and are applicable to all ThinkStation computers.
