(6) Precautions for wireless remote control installation and operation
(a) Wireless remote control covers the following distances:
(i)
When operating facing the air conditioner:

the receiver status.
(ii) When manipulating the remote control mounted on a
wall:
Make sure that it works normally (i.e., transmission/reception
signal is audible) before mounting.

(2) The typical coverage is indicated (in the left
illustration). It may be more or less depending on
the installation.
(3) The coverage may be less or even nil. If the sens-

element is exposed to strong light, such as direct

it or it is used behind a curtain, etc.
