Select the file containing the file information you want to change.
If you select a password-protected stored file, a screen for entering the password appears. Enter the
password, and then press [OK].

Press [Change File Name].
5.
Change the file name.
6.
Press [OK].
7.
Make sure that the file information was changed as necessary, and press [Exit].
• For information about how to enter characters, see "Entering Text", About This Machine.
• Using Web Image Monitor or DeskTopBinder, you can also change the name of a file stored in
the machine from the client computer. For details about Web Image Monitor, see the help files
for Web Image Monitor on the supplied CD-ROM. For details about DeskTopBinder, see the
manuals supplied with DeskTopBinder.
Changing a password
Enter the password for accessing the stored file.
• Be sure not to forget the password. If you forget it, consult the system administrator of the machine.
1.
Press [Select Stored File].
The list of stored files appears.
2.
Press [Manage / Delete File].
3.
Select the file containing the file information you want to change.
If you select a password-protected stored file, a screen for entering the password appears. Enter the
password, and then press [OK].
4.
Press [Change Password].
5.
Using the number keys, enter a new four to eight-digit password.
