6.3 Three-month checks
This chapter explains checks to perform every three months.

6.3.1 Cleaning sensors and rollers

Sensors are used to operate each unit and check whether the system has problems. They are installed in the paper path and
each unit. If dust accumulates on the sensors, the system will not operate normally and cause errors.
In addition, if rollers are dirty and have problems, it may adversely affect print quality and cause paper jams. Therefore, clean
them regularly. If there is any problem, consult your technical representative.
In this section, clean the following sensors and rollers.
Sensor/roller positions
Procedure
1.
Prepare the following item.
• Blower brush
2.
If printing is being performed, wait until it finishes.
3.
Clean the sensors and rollers in the paper advance section.
If sheet paper is fed, remove it.
