6.2 Weekly Checks

This chapter explains the checks that should be done every week.

6.2.1 Cleaning the paper supply section

Paper particles on the paper supply section adversely affect the print quality.
Procedure
1.
Prepare the following items.
• Vacuum cleaner
• Firmly-squeezed damp cloth
• Dry cloth
If paper is loaded in the paper supply section, prepare the following items too.
• Clean plastic or cloth sheet
• Clean gloves

If printing is being performed, wait until it finishes.
3.
Open the front door and remove the spindle unit (paper).

• Wear the gloves.
• Put the removed paper on vinyl sheet or cloth.

Clean the paper supply section.
6.2 Weekly Checks
5.3.1 Loading roll paper.
Vacuum paper particles using a vacuum cleaner.
Gently wipe dirt off using the firmly-squeezed
damp cloth.
