Retry Times

The number of retry times can be changed automatically.
NOTE:
Retry times can be set to between 0 and 14.
For Redial, refer to Dialing the Same Receiving System (Redial) on page 3-29.

ECM TX

ECM is a communication mode specified by the ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union) that retransmits
data when an error occurs. Fax machines that have ECM mode check for errors as they communicate,
preventing distortion of the image due to noise on the line and other conditions.
NOTE:
When there is a large amount of noise on the line, communication may take slightly longer than when
[Off] is selected.

TX Start Speed

When communication conditions are bad, the fax may not be transmitted correctly. In that case, set a lower TX
Start Speed.
Normally this should be used with the default setting.

times.
