Adjustment
Head ID Input When replacing the Print Head, this adjustment is made to
reduce head manufacturing variations, which may cause
individual differences in print quality.
Head Angular This adjustment is made to correct the error in the Print
Adjustment Head mounting position (Head angle) to make the nozzle
line straight with respect to the paper feeding direction.
Angular displacement is also checked for.
Multi Sensor This adjustment is made to correct a detection position
Adjustment(Ink Mark error, which is caused by the displacement of the Ink Mark
Sensor Adjustment) Sensor mounting position, on a software basis.
Auto Bi-D Adjustment This adjustment is made to correct the print timing in the
go and return paths in bi-directional printing.
Ink Mark Sensor This check is made to test whether the Ink Mark Sensor
Adjustment can detect patterns properly.
First dot position This function adjusts the print starting position in the CR
main scanning direction.
PW Sensor This adjustment is made to correct the PW Sensor
Adjustment mounting position on a software basis to improve a paper
detection error caused by the variation of the mounting
position.
PF Deterioration The deterioration amount of the PF Roller Shaft is
Compensation reflected to the paper feed correction amount. Every time
Counter Reset a sheet of paper is fed, the deterioration amount is
counted on the basis of the original counter value
setting.When the PF Roller Shaft or Printer Mechanism
has been replaced during repair, the PF deterioration
counter must be reset.
