Button

The product has three buttons for scanning operations.
Before using these buttons, make sure you have installed your scanning software.

Getting to Know Your Product
Indicator Status
On
Flashing
White is flashing and
amber is on
Flashing (alternately)
Flashing (simultaneously)
On
Off
Turns the product on if pressed once.
Turns the product off if pressed again.
Meaning
The product is ready to scan.
The product is connecting to a wireless network.
A Wi-Fi connection error has occurred. See the Troubleshooting
section in the Network Guide for details on wireless connection
problems.
The product is in standby state for Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS)
connection or the firmware is being updated.
A paper jam or a double feed has occurred. Set the documents
again.
If the lights continue to flash, a fatal error may have occurred.
Contact your local dealer.
An error has occurred.
