When an O M sensor is attached to the NPB-40 and is

applied to a patient, and the loses the pulse

signal, the will display "-- & --" (two dashes and
NPB-40
two dashes) and display the Pulse Search icon for
five seconds before the Sensor Disconnected icon is
displayed.
