You can encode a recordered video file to
playback on other portable devices, such
as a smart phone or a media player device.
Go to PVR > Recorded Program and se-
lect the file you want to transcode by press-
ing the
.
Set the File Transcoding Settings as you
need and choose OK.
Now you will see the transcoding progress
bar on the top right side of the screen as
shown on the left figure.
The transcoding progress bar will disap-
pear in a few seconds.
If you want to see the transcoding progress

bar again, press the
F3
button.
As the transcoding finishes, it will be saved
into the Entertainment > Media Player list,
the internal storage of the unit.
The transcoded file name will start with
[Transcode] and the original file name.
