1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.

3. Remove the belt. See the section:
"REMOVING THE DRIVE BELT AND
MOTOR".
4. Hold the splutch pulley and remove the
mounting bolt, see figure 1.
5. Lift off the pulley.
6. Remove the shifter. See the section: "RE-
MOVING THE SHIFTER".
7. Unsnap the tabs that secure the splutch
housing and lift off, see figure 2.
