The temperature is above or below
the proper range for the meter
(43 °F -111 °F). Move to an area
between 43 °F and 111 °F, wait
five minutes and repeat the test.
Do not artificially heat or cool the
meter.
The battery is almost out of power.
Change the battery now. See
Chapter 5, "Changing the Battery."
