Checking the tire air pressure

Info
Low tire air pressure leads to abnormal wear and overheating of the tire.
Correct tire air pressure ensures optimal riding comfort and maximum tire service life.
This vehicle makes use a tubeless tire system in which a tubeless sealing profile
instead of the conventional tube.
The advantages of the tubeless system lie in the absence of danger from a faulty tube. This
greatly reduces the risk of a sudden loss in pressure.
The masses and moments of inertia of these wheels are smaller than in conventional spoke
wheels with a tube. This results in better handling and riding comfort.
The rigid rim design results in a spoke wheel that is almost entirely maintenance-free.
KTM recommends that the tubeless sealing profile be changed after 5 years at the latest,
regardless of the actual state of wear.
