B. To complete this installation, follow basic masonry fireplace trim kit instructions
EXCEPT:
The trim kit may have to be cut down in size so as not to block any cooling vents/
chambers of Zero Clearance Fireplace.
C. To complete methods 1 and 2, position heater into ZC Fireplace and center flue exit under
connection.
D. Slide connector (or slip connector) down into flue exit of heater approximately 3/8".
Now, seal connector to heater (and fireplace throat if method #1 is used) using refractory
cement.
CAUTION: Do not loosen ceramic brick.
CAUTION: Crimped end of connector must be placed into heater throat.
E. Check installation minimum clearances and install an approved heater extension or floor
protector to meet at least minimum clearances.
