    Administrator's Manual 3. Web-based Management Configuring Date and Time Generally, a phone retrieves the date and time from a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server when it connects to the Internet. Alternatively, the date and time can be configured manually. NTP is a protocol for distributing the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) by means of synchronizing the clocks of computer systems over packet-switched, variable-latency data networks.
