WARNING!
Before dismounting to clear a clogged machine, place the transmission
in the park position, set the parking brake, shut down all power, including
the PTO and the engine and remove the key. Wait until all rotating
motion has stop before dismounting.
WARNING!
Snow can cover and hide solid objects such as guard rails, curbs, con-
crete structures, large rocks, utility boxes, fire hydrants, etc. DO NOT
allow the rotating parts of the Snow Blower to contact such items. In-
spect the area before operating the Snow Blower. Mark all solid items
clearly with a pole and flag. To reduce the possibility of property
damage, serious injury, or even death, never allow the rotating blades
to contact such obstacles.
WARNING!
The Snow Blower can block the operators vision directly in front of the
Snow Blower. Inspect the area before operating the Snow Blower
and make sure that there are no obstacles, passersby, or coworkers
in the path of the Snow Blower.
DANGER!
Start the Power unit and Auxiliary engines only when seated and
belted in the operator seat. Operate the Snow blower controls only
while seated with the seat belt secured around you. Inadvertent
movement of the Power unit and/or Snow Blower components may
cause serious injury or death to the operator and passersby. Read the
Power Unit and Auxiliary Engine operator's manuals for proper
starting instructions.
WARNING!
Never run the Power unit or Auxiliary engine in a closed building or
without adequate ventilation. The exhaust fumes can be hazardous
and deadly to your health. If it is necessary to run the Power unit or
Auxiliary engine in an enclosed area, remove the exhaust fumes
from the area to the outdoors with an exhaust pipe extension. If you
do not have an exhaust pipe extension, or if it is not possible to use
one, open doors and circulate outside air into the area.
