1.7.4 Reprint/Restore Photos Function (CX8300/TX400
series only)
CX8300/TX400 series offers the photo copy function. This function allows the user to
copy their silver halide film-based pictures. The printer scans the pictures
automatically detecting them as silver halide film-based picture, and makes a copy of
them.

Paper type Selects paper type from the options shown in

Layout • Standard (normal layout with 3mm margins)
• Borderless (no margins)
Quality Fixed to "Standard".
Selects the margins level (margins bleed off the edges of paper)
Expansion
from the Standard (100%), Mid. (50%) or Min. (0%).
Color restoration Selects from On or Off. The default is Off.

1.7.4.3 How to Place Silver Halide Pictures
The following explains how to place silver halide film-based pictures on the document
glass of the printer.
Available picture size: 30x40 mm to 127x178mm (5"x7")
Lay the pictures on the glass face down.
The number of pictures available at one time is as follows:
• 4x6 or smaller:up to 2 pictures
• 5x7:
The following spaces are needed:
• 5 mm or more space from the right and front edges of the document glass.
